JIKIDEN REIKI ASSOCIATION CODE OF ETHICS
1. Members practice and teach Jikiden
Reiki in compliance with the objectives of the Jikiden Reiki
Institute (Jikiden Reiki Kenkyukai) and honor the contract with
the Institute each member voluntarily signs at the beginning of
each Jikiden Reiki seminar.
2. Members refrain from
discrimination against others in their practice and teaching of
Jikiden Reiki on the basis of race, ethnicity, gender, illness,
age, social status, sexual orientation or religion.
3. Members maintain strict confidentiality concerning all information about
any student or client. Members also maintain confidential all
client and student records and store such records, if any, in a
secure location. No client or student information may be
released by a member without the consent of the
client or student involved with the exception of confidential
communication with Jikiden Reiki Institute (Jikiden Reiki
Members ensure that their professional conduct is above
reproach and refrain from taking physical, sexual,
psychological, emotional or financial advantage of any client or

Jikiden Reiki practice and Jikiden Reiki teaching and follow the
Reiki Gokai or Precepts in their daily life.
With the common goal of promoting, encouraging and expanding the practice
and teaching of Jikiden Reiki, members respect, communicate and
cooperate with one another. Recognizing the value and common
source of all Reiki, members refrain from disparaging
non-Jikiden Reiki practitioners
or non-Jikiden Reiki teachers. Members also cooperate with
other medical, dental, wellness, health care and therapy professionals
and practitioners as appropriate.
7. Members acknowledge and understand that
failure to abide by the terms of the Code of Ethics of the
JIKIDEN REIKI ASSOCIATION may lead to termination of membership or other action
by its Board of Directors.
